The Perspective Desktop delivers the only comprehensive remote access solution. More than just a collection of disparate single-function products, this easy to use, easy to maintain software helps your business enhance user productivity from any location while cutting total cost of ownership.

The software can be broken down into three functional areas, all of which are integrated together into a single end-user software application. Most features are available with only one or two mouse clicks.

Security

Plethora's entire solution is built on a foundation of tight security. All traffic is encrypted using 168-bit 3DES, including a built-in VPN to ensure the security and availability of resources on your corporate network. At the core of Plethora's secure architecture is our patent-pending authentication and transport system, SecureChannel™. An optional FIPS 140 compliant version is available for government customers.

Remote Control

Useful for helpdesk personnel and remote workers, this feature enables remote workers to take control of an in-office desktop (or vice-versa) and use that PC as if seated at the console. The Remote Control feature is built into Perspective, and deploys via simple download. All traffic is completely secure and encrypted, and connections are mediated by the company-owned server. Unlike the competition, Perspective's remote control solution requires no complicated setup, has a very small footprint, and provides no opportunity for individuals to setup or access in-office PCs without administrator approval.

Productivity Tools

Employees often lose contact with their coworkers when working remotely. Becoming disconnected is often the top reason remote workers are unable to productively complete their tasks. To combat this problem, we have built communication and collaboration features directly into the Perspective Desktop. Users always know who else is online and whether they're available, and with just a click or two of the mouse, users can initiate an instant message, text messaging session, file transfer, and soon, voice and video conferencing, and application sharing. Workers will never feel disconnected again, no matter where they're working.
